JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes
Hey guys I know this isn’t really my typical post. Pretty much everything on this blog is about missions, but yet this is something else that holds a really special place in my heart. This September 26 Spencer and I will be participating in a JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes. For those of you who haven’t seen how devastating Juvenile Diabetes is, consider yourselves lucky. I have had first hand experience with seeing a close friend suffer from this disease. This disease is sucking the hope out of millions of children and adults every day. Many people who live with this disease are paralyzed by fear and those who are brave still have to face the dark future that awaits them… A Type I diabetics life is one of needles, blood, strict diets, and constant medical tests. I have a passion for helping find a cure for this horrible disease! Join Spencer and I as we bring hope and support to the victims of Type I diabetes!
