17 Days
In only 17 days Spencer and I will be on a plane flying to Belize! There is just so much to do in these last two and a half weeks! I’m overwhelmed with excitement, but at the same time I’m kinda nervous. You would think that with Belize being my 6th country I have been to that the anxiety before trips would fade, but nope it’s always here! haha It’s not like I’m afraid anything bad is going to happen; I am just anticipating all the change and the impact that my life will encounter. With each trip I go on I come back a slightly different person. I never know what the Lord is going to teach me on these trips! There is only one part that I am actually anxious about…and that is going through the international airport and customs without a leader or someone older who knows what they are doing… Usually Spencer and I are with a team of people who can help us if there is a problem, but this time it is all on us! I guess I have done it a dozen times and it shouldn’t be a problem, but airports stress me out!
Did I ever tell you my flight schedule? We will leave Lynchburg on July 20th at 6:00am! That is going to be a super early morning! It will def. be hard to get out of bed at like 4am that day… haha Our first stop will be Atlanta at 7:25am where we will have a lay over till 9:50am and then we will say goodbye to the USA and head to the beautiful country of Belize! We will arrive at our destination at 11:09am and from there the adventure will begin!
I literally can hardly wait to go on this trip! Please continue to pray for us as we prepare. In fact, we actually get to start our formal preparation booklet in three days! It’s so hard not to start it now! haha As always please remember the people of Belize!
